Jiao Tong University among four winners of youth leadership finance summit

FOUR teams won champions of four financial subjects at the 2016 International Youth Leadership Finance Summit (IYLFS) held by Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SAIF) over the weekend.

A total of 21 teams from 26 universities all over the world had heated discussion in four topics, including, small medium enterprise finance, bulk commodity, internationalization of RMB and transparency of Chinese Capital Market.

The joint team of University of Toronto and University of Pennsylvania, National Chiao Tong University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Peking University won the competitions after two days of discussions and presentations.

The winners were awarded 10,000 yuan of bonus and scholarships from the Chartered Financial Analyst China.

IYLFS is an annual event initiated in 2013 by SAIF Master of Finance program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, aiming to provide an interaction and learning platform for outstanding undergraduate students, as well as to cultivate their leadership, communication and organizational skills.
