The Art & Science of Personal Positioning for Career Advancement (An Introduction) Oct, 2014
Overview:
It is no surprise that the more attractive the job opportunity, the more competitive it will be as you battle to get your resume, background & experience noticed in the sea of other competing professionals seeking the same opportunity as you.
Whether you are looking for an internship, a new job or a promotion within your current company, top notch candidates not only need to have an edge, but also need to discover how to communicate it in order to enhance their probabilities of success.
This program is specifically designed to be a part of a series of lectures at Jiaotong SAIF which will help participants discover a step by step approach on how to better position themselves for a new job opportunity or promotion. Within the lecture, the author will reveal simple, yet powerful concepts & tools to help participants begin to greatly enhance their influence and trigger a ‘yes’ response in the mind of the hiring manager & decision maker. This program is a must for any student or participant currently or planning to seek an internship, job or promotion in the near to medium term.
Upcoming Lectures: Oct, Nov, Dec 2014 & Jan 2015
The program will include four 60 min lectures with 15 min Q&A, targeted one each month, from Oct 2014 to Jan 2015 to include:
I. Personal Positioning and Why this is Key to Your Success & What Recruiters Really Want to Know
II. 3 Brain Rules that Help Trigger a ‘Yes’ Response & How to Sell Yourself using the ‘Wow How Now’ Tool
III. An Introduction on How to Inspire Action through Storytelling and Body Language
