Background:
Emre Ozdenoren is a Professor of Economics at London Business School. He is also a research fellow at Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR).  His PhD is from Northwestern University. Prof. Emre Ozdenoren is an expert in micro economics, decision making under uncertainty, behavioural economics, game theory and auction theory. Abstract:
There is ample evidence that people have problems resisting immediate temptations leading to hours of fruitless web surfing, obesity, procrastination, not enough saving for retirement etc. This lecture focuses on these issues and discusses ways of resisting temptations and their business and policy implications.
