Seminar Abstract:
Most companies now compete through their supply chains. This talk will give a general introduction of supply chain management (SCM). We will define what SCM is about, why SCM is important, and what typical decisions are involved in a supply chain. We will focus on several strategic questions in a supply chain and gain some insights by looking at several well known companies as case studies.
