Looking beyond the Numbers:
Perspectives on Financial Markets in Shanghai and Hong Kong
A discussion with Practitioners and the Shanghai Advanced Institute for Finance
For the financial markets in Greater China, the start of a new year has been marked by lingering shadows of the past year. The external environment remains hamstrung by limp recovery in the US and problems in the Eurozone; while closer to home, inflation continue to be a major concern, with disruptive potential. Looking ahead, though, there are a number of opportunities around the RMB’s internationalization in both the Hong Kong and Shanghai financial markets. Some will raise competitive instincts, others offer room for cooperation.
How will Greater China financial markets take on the challenges and opportunities of the Year of the Rabbit? Who will capitalize on the potential and how? Join us for and engaging discussion featuring experts, practitioners, and market shapers from both sides of the border.
